Unlocking the Economic Value of IT

Exigen Group Secures Highest Level CMMI Rating

Level 5 rating recognizes advanced software delivery processes, endorsing value and quality of Exigen's business process optimiz

San Francisco, Calif. — Exigen Group, a global provider of business process optimization technology, services and outsourcing, has attained Software Capability Maturity Model Integration (SW-CMMI) Level 5 certification, the highest technology process certification available. The achievement places the company in an elite group of organizations.

Developed by the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, the CMMI is recognized as one of the most rigorous software quality standards in the world. It objectively assesses the full range of an organization's software engineering, program management and organizational management capabilities. Less than 100 companies worldwide have announced CMMI level 5 certification with SEI, and Exigen Group's operations within the Baltic States are the first for that region.

"Exigen Group attained CMM Level 4 in September 2003, and the short time to attain a CMMI Level 5 rating shows not only the rigor of Exigen Group's processes, but the dedication and excellence of our people," stated Greg Shenkman, Exigen Group CEO. "It is this commitment that enables us to provide our clients business process optimization solutions that rapidly and continuously generate financial returns."
